Most other companies won’t supply curtains longer than 2.5m that are ready made. This means that homeowners often have to go over budget to get the perfect curtains for their homes. We offer curtains that are 2.50m, 3.00m, and 3.50m so you can decorate your home quickly and easily.

Measuring curtains

There is always flexibility with ‘taped’ headings. Exact measurements would be required for specialised headings such as ‘Pinch-Pleat’ or ‘Goblet'

The overall length/drop of your curtains are personal to you. Some may request that they are just below window level, others like to have a ‘puddle’ of fabric to act as a draft excluder. The ‘puddling’ also resolves issues such as uneven floors or window frames, the choice is yours.

Measuring curtains for width

  • Measure the width between the decorative finials for poles.
  • Measure the width from end-to-end for tracks.
  • If the track overlaps, you must include the overlap.
  • An additional 30cm for the poles is recommended for goblet and tab-headed curtain.

Measuring curtains for length

  • Measure from the underside of the curtain ring for poles. 
  • Measure from the top of the pole and add 4cm for eyelet curtains.
  • Measure from the top of the pole for tab-headed curtains.
  • To minimise light exposure, we recommend you position your track (not a pole) a minimum of 15cm above the top of the window.
  • Measure from the top of the track to allow it to be hidden by the curtains.
  • Measure from the correct point to 1cm above the sill for sill length; the desired length for below-sill length; 1cm above the floor for full length.
